Of Interest to Medical Students

Osteopathic Advantage is committed to the education of the next generation of Osteopathic physicians. OMM Rotations are available for interns, fellows, and third and fourth year students who are committed to learning the hands-on skills of the Osteopathic physician.

Student Rotations

Osteopathic Advantage is an "Osteopathic Center of Excellence" and has a 25 year history of teaching DO and MD medical students. The program was established in 1980 by J. Scott Heatherington, D.O., a former president of the AOA, and twice president of the American Academy of Osteopathy.

Rotations are available to students with a special interest in outpatient OMM, who wish to have a concentrated experience in practical OMT, and a chance to refine OMT skills.
